Children aged six to twelve years are accepted into LeRoux Froebel’s School-Age Program. The ratio in this class is fifteen children to one Registered Early Childhood Educator or assistant, with a maximum capacity of 67 children.
Through weekly activities, your child will develop important skills, including teamwork, social interaction, and self-esteem. Children also have access to bilingual homework assistance, games, creative activities, and trips to nearby parks, where they participate in games and team sports.
Help your child develop bilingual skills in a fun and engaging environment – call LeRoux Froebel Bilingual School to enroll or schedule a visit.
July and August are a break from the everyday for both staff and children. Our program switches to a camp mode, and the children are invited to join us on outings to Riverdale Farm, the beach, Metro Toronto Zoo (including Splash Island), local parks (Norwood, Ted Reeve), local school playgrounds (Kimberley, St. John’s, Adam Beck, Williamson Road), sports, and sprinkler fun.
Our teachers will post a calendar of events by mid-June, and a copy will be distributed to all families in our program with any permission forms (and related costs).
For safety reasons, each child is required to have a LeRoux Froebel Bilingual School t-shirt for all big group outings. These are available from our office at a nominal fee.
