Being able to speak more than one language has many cognitive benefits. When a child is exposed to two different languages at a younger age, they will be capable to gain proficiency in both languages easily. LeRoux Froebel Bilingual School is proud to offer bilingual educational programs for junior kindergarteners in Toronto.
LeRoux Froebel Bilingual School offers both Junior and Senior Kindergarten classes. Children aged three years and eight months to five years are accepted into the Junior Kindergarten class. The ratio in this class is ten children to one Registered Early Childhood Educator or assistant, with a maximum capacity of 20 children.
Children from five years old to six years old are accepted into the Senior Kindergarten class. The ratio in this class is twelve children to one Registered Early Childhood Educator or assistant, with a maximum capacity of 24 children.
The enthusiastic and creative staff in these rooms program weekly activities that foster emerging self-help skills, while enhancing their curiosity of the world around them. The interests of the children are the base for the program, and activities are carried out in both English and French. Our structured Early Learning Program continues in these rooms.
